RBI ASSISTAN EXAM 2020

RBI ASSISTANT EXAM: The RBI Assistant Examination is conducted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for the recruitment of candidates for Assistant in its various branches across the country. As it is a national level recruitment process, applications are invited from all sections of India. Candidates can apply online for this post after the release of the RBI Assistant Notification of 2020 by RBI. The exam is to be conducted in three stages: preliminary and main examination, followed by a language proficiency test (LPT). The score of the main examination will be used to create a merit list of selected candidates for the post of RBI Assistant.

RBI Assistant Main Exam Date Postponed

The Main Online Examination of the RBI Assistant 2020 Examination was scheduled to be held on March 29, 2020 (Sunday), but due to the outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the exam has been postponed by the RBI. The new exam date will be updated here after it is released by RBI. RBI has released the RBI Assistant 2020 Exam Dates with its official notification. The RBI Assistant Examination is conducted in different innings in different places across India. The RBI Assistant 2020 Prelims Exam is scheduled to be held on 14 and 15 February 2020, while the main examination has been postponed due to the outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). RBI Assistant Vacancy 2020

RBI will recruit 926 vacancies for the post of assistants in various RBI offices across the country through the RBI Assistant 2020 Examination. The state-wise and category-wise vacancies are shown in the figure below:

RBI Assistant 2020 Salary Structure

Assistants will get a starting salary of 14,650 / – per month (ie 150 13,150 / – plus two advance increments will be acceptable. To graduate on a scale of 750 13150 – 750 (3) – 15400 – 900 (4) – 19000 – 1200 (6) – 26200 – 1300 (2) – 28800-1480 (3)) – 33240 – 1750 (1) – 34990 (20 years) and other allowances, ie. Dearness allowance, house rent allowance, City allowances, Transport allowances, etc. allowable from time to time. Currently, the initial monthly gross Abandonment of approximately u 36091 / – for assistants. * House rent allowance will not be paid to the employee if bank accommodation is provided and license fee will be recovered from her/him @ 0.3% of pay at the starting stage of the pay scale of Class III.

RBI Assistant 2020 Exam Pattern

The RBI Assistant Exam 2020 is scheduled to be conducted in three phases (Prelims + Mains + Language Proficiency Test (LPT)). The Preliminary Examination consists of three sections: Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, and English Language.The main examination consists of five different sections: Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Computer Knowledge, and General Awareness. There is negative marking for incorrect answers made by the candidate. If the question is unanswered or blank, no marks will be deducted.

Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

Candidates selected provisionally from the main on-line examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). Students are eligible for the main examination based on the preliminary exam score. It is mandatory for all candidates to pass these three rounds to ensure final selection to the post of Assistant in the Reserve Bank of India.
